I have always been fascinated by the magical presence of the Moon in the night sky. Something deep inside me felt that it was more than just a source of light in the dark. Over time, I discovered that the cycles of the Moon not only affect the tides of the sea, but also us, people and the rhythm of our lives. The Four Main Phases of the Moon
The Moon’s life is cyclical, just like ours. The four main phases - New Moon, First Quarter, Full Moon and Last Quarter - all bring different energies with them.
New Moon: The new moon is a symbol of new beginnings. This period is perfect for setting new goals and clarifying our intentions. Personally, I sit down for a candlelight meditation at this time and write down what I want to achieve in the next cycle.
First Quarter: This is the time for action. The goals I set during the New Moon are now starting to take shape. I often feel more energetic and able to move forward with my plans.
Full Moon: The full moon is a time of fulfillment and peak energy. For many, this can be an intense time, as emotions are heightened. I often feel more restless during this time, but it also gives me an opportunity to let go. I cleanse my crystals and light a cleansing candle during this time.
Last Quarter: This is a time for introspection and closure. It is a time to reflect on what worked and what needs to be let go. For me, this is a time of "cleaning up," both physically and mentally.

According to the phases of the moon, many people find that it is easier to make decisions during certain times, while other phases are more conducive to rest. In my own experience, I use the new moon and first quarter most actively, while the full moon and last quarter are more focused on inner work and reflection.

There are many ways to connect with the energies of the Moon. Here are some of my favorite rituals:
New Moon Meditation: I write down my new intentions by candlelight and then visualize them.
Full Moon Cleansing: I cleanse crystals, objects, and light a candle to release unnecessary energies.
Last Quarter Thanksgiving: I reflect on everything I can be grateful for and let go of what no longer serves me.
